In reality, the quintet is based in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony—a city that the travel magazine "Merian" describes as having a marketplace with a Mediterranean character. It was there, in a small pizzeria, that the spontaneous idea to present Italian songs in a completely new way was born at Vino e Pasta.
