This three-member children's rock band from Berlin Kreuzberg arrives with infectious good humor and songs reminiscent of the Grips Theater and the German band Ton Steine Scherben. Their rocking opening track, "Be There, Here and Now"—a call to make the world a better place with empathy and tolerance—quickly won over fans. "Pick Up, Collect"—a tidying-up song (finally!)—and the swinging "Dance Your Worries Away" also became instant live hits. But the quieter, acoustic numbers like "Seasons Song (Where Are You?)", "Good Night," and the closing track, "Under Your Bed," showcase the versatility of this family rock band from Berlin. Children's music has so much more to offer than some dusty old prejudices might suggest. It's handcrafted music with attitude and a cheeky freshness that parents will often find themselves listening to the album even without their kids.
