Since 1998, Red Stoner Sun has been inspiring and enriching the stoner and space rock scene in Berlin and around the world with select gigs and fine recordings. Dubbed the "Stoner Rock veteran from Berlin" (TIP – Berlin City Magazine), they have played with Danko Jones, Spirit Caravan, Madrugada, and Zen Guerilla, among others. Alongside Causa Sui and Kvelertak, they performed at Desertfest Berlin in 2014.
To mark their 19th anniversary, Red Stoner Sun are releasing their third studio album, "The Wicked Witch Of The West," their first recordings in 10 years! While their previous albums could easily be categorized as "stoner rock," "The Wicked Witch Of The West" boasts a broader, more complex sound. The Red Suns haven't aged—they've wisen up. Sophisticated songwriting and progressive elements are once again rooted in the '60s and '70s—all the way to late-'90s desert rock.
