Unbelievable, but true! Rosy Vista from Hanover are widely considered Germany's very first all-female hard rock/metal band. In the 80s, they played with renowned bands like Uriah Heep, Joe Cocker, and Manfred Mann's Earth Band, and went on promotional tours with artists including Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and Mötley Crüe.
In 1984, they released the mini-LP "You Better Believe It," which was neglected by the label at the time, ultimately leading to the band's dissolution in 1990. However, contact between the band members remained, and the rock ladies continued to play together occasionally, in various lineups and under different band names. In 2002, the band briefly reunited, but due to the members' personal commitments, it was short-lived.
Thirty years later, the album "Unbelievable" was released via SPV / Steamhammer and has enjoyed tremendous acclaim. Rosy Vista are no longer alone in the world as they once were, but must compete internationally with up-and-coming all-girl bands like the Amorettes, Thundermother, and Burning Witches. This shouldn't bother the Hanover-based band, however, because Rosy Vista are still in a class of their own and have no need to look to their younger competitors.
The reviews are full of superlatives like: "Frontwoman Andrea Schwarz easily outsings the entire competition. A truly strong comeback!" Drummer Marina Hlubek is overjoyed to create a unique symbiosis with new bassist Heike Müller. Band leader, guitarist, singer, and producer Anca Graterol says: "Everything feels so right! Unbelievable – the momentum from the past has become solid! Rock 'n' roll will never die!"
