This is how it feels, this is how it sounds when San Antonio Kid first pick up their guitar strings on stage. From that moment on, they transport us to the American Southwest, where the four Augsburg natives were actually born.
Dressed in western shirts, hats, and vests, they perform their songs, composed over the past two years, with authentic style and so much feeling that even the toughest redneck wouldn't guess their Swabian origins. Whether at gigs in an underground bowling alley, on a skyscraper rooftop like the Beatles back in the day, at major open-air festivals, or in clubs supporting The Soft Hills or Crystal Stilts, San Antonio Kid delight audiences everywhere with their casual, rumbling rhythm section, organ guitars, and singer Matt's psychedelic sixties vocals.
