This CD is Sebastian Pachel's debut performance on his rare brass pan flute, custom-made to his specifications. Pachel incorporates jazz and pop influences into his classical interpretations, thus escaping the constant reproduction of classical music. To take a step closer to his vision of "Modern Art of Pan Flute," he experiments with electronic sound modification. He increasingly focuses on timbre and sound, rather than solely on virtuosity and flawless presentation of classical works, but despite all his sonic experiments, he always maintains a foothold in the classical world.
