Three years have passed since the release of the melancholic introverted debut
"Origins" is over. The new songs from the album "Solaria" are a summery, radiant indie pop with an unmistakably British influence.
Slowtide succeeds in blending catchy guitar sounds and soft, determined vocals into beautiful pop harmonies. With a clear voice, Kevin Werdelmann sings amiably about nasty stories about the longing to leave everything behind and the longing of the abandoned, who must stay behind.
Kevin Werdelmann is the guitarist, singer, and composer of all songs, and he played most of the instruments himself. Together with drummer Aaron Jablonski, the string and wind ensemble, and a great deal of attention to detail, the homogenous, warm sound of "Solaria" emerged.
