Strange Enough - Downstairs (CD)

Our preview of DOWNSTAIRS laden STRANGE ENOUGH to delve even deeper into their sonic world. While our debut album STAIRS was something of a first step upwards for us, this time we're consciously going in the opposite direction: downwards, closer to what our music is really about – emotion, atmosphere, and movement. The new release isn't a classic remix compilation, but rather a journey through different facets of our sound. Some songs from STAIRS We, along with other artists, have placed it in a different context. Artists like ZOODRAKE, ROBOTA ROBOTNY  or  DISCOREBELLION have taken our pieces and given them their own dynamics – more danceable, more intensely, but always with noticeable respect for the original mood. Tracks like Take it all, Only the living  or  You don't want to call at all These tracks exemplify what STRANGE ENOUGH is all about: a blend of dark electronic energy, crisp beats, and melodic moments that deliberately leave room for emotion. Our music is never just for the dance floor, but also for quieter moments – for long nights, dark rooms and situations where music is more than just background. STRANGE ENOUGH are Hel Prixs, Martin Marksteiner, and Timo Kamaryt. We share a common history in the Dark and alternative electronic music scene and the desire to electronic music to make it not only functional, but also atmospheric and emotionally tangible.

With DOWNSTAIRS we wanted to continue exactly that: to take familiar elements, reinterpret them and at the same time show the next step in our musical development.
