Some call it Southern Rock, others Bluesy - Retro Rock... If you ask Tim Husung, he usually answers with "real, handcrafted rock music with heart and balls..."
After Tim had shared stages as a drummer with artists such as Alice Cooper, Doro Pesch, Wolfgang “Wölli” Rohde (Die Toten Hosen), John Diva & The Rockets of Love and many more in Germany, Europe and even the USA, he finally decided, driven by his boundless creativity, to give priority to his own music as a singer and guitarist.
His debut album, "Love, Soul, Rock 'n' Roll," was released in 2019, which he recorded, produced, and directed himself. The result is a powerful, passionate rock album. Tours in California and Arizona, among other places, left their mark on the sound and imagery of his debut. Rock magazine Eclipsed aptly wrote: "This old-school character has been skillfully transported into the modern era."
The second album, "Last Train To Graceland," will be released in 2024. Unlike its predecessor, it was created as a band. Although all of the songs were composed by Husung alone during the early days of the pandemic, the final version was recorded by the band together in their own "Soulshine Studio." A friend of the band, Frank Kühnlein, was responsible for mixing and mastering. Last Train Graceland is an organic development. Not quite as raw as its predecessor, but with more melodies and hooks. A bit more finesse here and there.
One thing remains the same: the love for honest, handmade music.
