Multi-layered vocals, warm basses, delicate orchestral elements, and hand-picked electronic sounds paired with interesting harmonies and honest lyrics – that's the essence of Tameera. Using these components in a variety of ways, the young artist creates soundscapes that are sometimes melancholic and dreamy, sometimes energetic and powerful, and her unique sound skillfully moves between indie pop and R&B.
Tabea Meusch, now 23, discovered her love of music in early childhood and received her first music lessons at the age of six. Since then, she has gained years of experience in various bands and choirs until she finally moved to Osnabrück in 2016 to study pop singing at the University of Music's Institute of Music and to pursue music as her career. During her studies, Tameera increasingly focused on writing and recording her own English-language songs, thus developing the signature sound that runs like a thread through her debut album: the EP "My Mind," which was released on June 25.06.2021, XNUMX, on major international streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and others, and will also be available in physical CD format starting in August.
In addition to the carefully developed soundscapes, the Paderborn native also attaches great importance to the messages her songs convey: "All my lyrics are inspired by themes and stories that particularly touched and preoccupied me at the time of writing. Through working on this EP, I was able to overcome some important life stages and process accumulated experiences, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share how I deal with them with others."
