After five studio CDs, two live CDs, and one ballad CD, the first album, "9," was released, featuring songs composed and written entirely by the band. The CD was recorded, mixed, and mastered at the Echolane Recording Studio at the end of 2021. "We've been on the road for 30 years now, spreading the fun and joy of Irish folk rock.
Anyone who hasn't seen us live yet has missed something. The pandemic forced us to explore new avenues," says singer and band veteran Thys Bouma. "We were completely under-recorded, like the entire music scene, and suddenly we had time. We made the most of it and worked on our own ideas. None of us would have imagined that this would result in an entire album.
Unfortunately, there was a problem. How were we supposed to cover the production costs? During the pandemic, there were no opportunities to perform, so the costs of producing the CD could only be covered through a successful crowdfunding campaign. A huge thank you to all our fans for their financial support. We're very happy with the result and hope you'll memorize the lyrics so we can have a great choir in the audience for the upcoming live season. ;-)."
