The long-awaited follow-up, "Turn It Golden!", will be released at the end of September. This album lacks much of the simple and raw sound of the debut. While the first album was firmly anchored in the tradition of American folk, the new songs showcase many diverse facets that transcend the narrow boundaries of the genre without forgetting its roots. The result is a highly diverse album, whose songs are nevertheless unmistakably TS Eliot Appreciation Society songs: from the John Fahey-esque folk instrumental "Anne's Lullaby" to the fragile pop of "The Fall" to the hypnotic Kraut folk of the single "The Grand Tour." The occasionally hallucinatory lyrics tell stories of people searching for meaning in chaotic times.
