Soft, warm sand tickles your toes, sunbeams glitter on the sea. Perfect for the start of summer, the Tommy Schneller Band takes you on a relaxing stroll along the beach with their new single "Barefootin'" from the award-winning album "Backbeat."
Just let time stand still and enjoy the peace and quiet. Tommy Schneller loves that summer feeling. It's a great honor for him to be able to share it musically in Barefootin', also in a duet with Dorrey Lin Lyles of the Weather Girls. Together, the two transform Barefootin' into a light-as-a-feather song that reflects vacation, relaxation, and harmony with every single note.
The beach walk is complemented by exclusive live versions of two songs from the album Backbeat. The title track, "Backbeat," and the cheeky "Laut hör ich dich denken" (I Can Hear You When You Think) come directly from the album release concert at the Rosenhof in Osnabrück. Playing guitar here is none other than Carl Carlton from Peter Maffay's band, who supported the Tommy Schneller Band on stage at this special gig in February 2016.
Backbeat has just been awarded the German Record Critics' Prize. As "one of the most artistically outstanding new releases on the recording market," the album made the quarter's best-of list.
