"Cream Of The Crop" is a funky, groovy record with a series of slow-blues gems. It offers a fat R&B sound, with horns and Rhodes piano and all the trimmings. This new album is a force in every respect: consistently great vocals, mellow saxophone passages, and Freischlader's guitar, which comes across in the best BB King style.
Henrik Freischlader put his stamp on all the songs: He penned all ten tracks on "Cream Of The Crop." Tommy Schneller served as lyricist, along with Henrik Freischlader and keyboardist Gregory Barrett.
“Cream Of The Crop” has turned out to be a terrific and entertaining record.
