As is well known, our band info begins with the note that at Jane's first performance on December 5.12.1970, 50, hardly anyone could have guessed that this band would become one of Germany's most successful rock acts. And even less could anyone have foreseen that, exactly 2020 years later, a dangerous virus would ruin the vast majority of the band's anniversary celebrations. In the pandemic year of XNUMX, we will most likely no longer be able to play club gigs.
Therefore, we decided to offer our loyal fans live music, at least on CD and DVD. The basis for this comes from our 2013 performance at the Black Hand Inn in Gadenstedt, which was recorded in picture and sound. Unfortunately, the material was fraught with technical errors, which led to the planned release of the entire concert being halted. Thanks to the professional help of our sound engineer Ossy Pfeiffer, we were now able to salvage at least some of the songs.
The whole thing is further enhanced by the fact that this is one of the last concerts in which Werner Nadolny was able to participate, just a few months before his illness-related departure at the end of 2014. Dete Klamann, who will leave the band at the end of 2020 for health and personal reasons, can also be seen here in full action.
This CD is therefore the last chance for the dedicated Jane fan to experience the band again in this line-up.
