The intention of Yvi Wylde and her Brothers From Other Mothers? - to bring the guitar back into pop music!
After various performances for and with artists such as Culcha Candela, Paul Gilbert, Richie Kotzen and Jennifer Batten, Yvi grabbed her two collaborators Rolf and Hendrik in 2013 and has since then endeavored to conjure up some chic guitar riffs in the old Prince style. The hippie blues musicians have already proven with their debut album that their music defies categorization. The second album by the crazy trio is not for the faint of heart or die-hard genre fans. However, anyone with an open mind will not be able to avoid "Provinzrocker" and will experience a wonderful journey through electronic music, 80s pop, rock, country, blues and funk. The connecting link: the guitar, of course! In addition to long-time collaborators Björn Diewald and Lars Havelberg, the trio also enlisted keyboardist Tim Möller, singer Tobias Eisenworth and Udo Lindenberg bassist Stef Stephan as guest musicians this time.
